Laundry collection and delivery in Newtown

Newtown lies on Poole’s north side between Parkstone, Oakdale and Alderney, with Ringwood Road along its edge and Mannings Heath and its business estates on the other side. Its roots are Victorian — the first chapel opened in 1876 — and today the Newtown and Heatherlands ward is home to about 12,500 people. Houses on one side of the road and business units on the other make it a place where household and commercial laundry share the same round.

Where in Newtown we collect

We cover Newtown and Heatherlands across BH12 — the residential streets off Ringwood Road, the roads towards Upper Parkstone and Alderney, and the business estates around Newtown Business Park and Mannings Heath. Parkstone, Oakdale, Alderney and Rossmore are on the same rounds, so a boundary address is covered too.

Local history is written into the buildings: Newtown Methodist Church, built in 1907, was damaged in an air raid in 1941 and later turned into housing. For directions today, Ringwood Road and the business park are the usual reference points.

What gets collected most around here

Two kinds of load come from Newtown. From businesses — gyms, salons, cafés and workshops — it is towels, tea towels, table linen and washable workwear on a repeating collection. From homes it is the family wash, bedding and duvets, shirts to iron and the odd suit for dry cleaning. Both are picked up and returned the same way.

Newtown books through the same form as the rest of our Poole service, and businesses can ask for commercial rates before the first collection.

How our laundry collection works: you hand over the bag at your door, we wash and fold it, we iron and care for each item, and we deliver everything back.
