Laundry & Linen Service in Canford Cliffs, Poole

Canford Cliffs sits on the cliffs between Branksome Park and Sandbanks, in BH13. The name goes back to the Domesday Book as Cheneford, but the suburb itself was laid out from the 1880s on land that had belonged to Lord Wimborne’s estate, deliberately as a residential area with very little commerce. A sea wall and promenade followed in the 1930s. Larger houses with guest rooms mean plenty of bed and table linen — just the kind of load we collect, wash, press and return.

Where in Canford Cliffs we collect

We cover the whole of Canford Cliffs across BH13 — the small village around Haven Road, the residential roads above the chines and the cliff-top streets towards Sandbanks. Branksome Park, Penn Hill, Lilliput and Sandbanks are on the same rounds, so a house on the boundary is covered too.

The village around Haven Road is the local centre, and the beach and promenade below the cliffs — built up in the 1930s to hold back erosion and strengthened again in 2020–21 — are what most visitors know.

What gets collected most around here

Linen is the main load in homes like these: sheets and duvet covers from main and guest bedrooms, table linen after a dinner, bath and beach towels — washed, then ironed or folded as you prefer. The weekly wash, shirts for ironing and dry cleaning travel in the same collection, and nothing heavy needs carrying to the car.

Canford Cliffs books through the same form as the rest of our Poole service, with collections five days a week.
