Laundry collection and delivery in New Milton town centre

New Milton town centre is the part of the town that grew up after the railway came in March 1888. Station Road runs from the station through the shopping street, with banks, cafés, pubs and salons along it, and Old Milton Road, Whitefield Road and Ashley Road branch off it. The station is on the line between London Waterloo and Weymouth, and the housing in the middle of town is the newer, more urban part of New Milton — flats and houses side by side with shops. So this page covers both the home basket and the business one.

The town’s water tower stands just east of the station. During the Second World War it was suggested as the target of the Luftwaffe raids on New Milton in August 1940, August 1942 and January 1943, and the Memorial Centre on Whitefield Road remembers the people killed in them. The town council offices are on Ashley Road, and the library and the recreation centre are on Gore Road.
