Laundry collection and delivery in Lower Parkstone
Lower Parkstone is the part of Parkstone locals call the Village — the streets running down from Ashley Cross towards Poole Harbour. It grew quickly after Parkstone station opened in 1874, and Ashley Cross, the original home of Parkstone Grammar School, is now ringed by independent shops, cafés and restaurants around the green. Suits for work and something smart for a dinner out make dry cleaning a natural fit here, so we collect it with the rest of the laundry.
Where in Lower Parkstone we collect
We cover Lower Parkstone and Ashley Cross across BH14 — the streets around the green and the station, Bournemouth Road and Church Road, and the roads leading down to Whitecliff and the harbour. Parkstone, Penn Hill, Whitecliff and Branksome are on the same rounds, so a boundary address is covered too.
St Peter’s Church is the landmark you cannot miss: begun in 1876 and later enlarged by John Loughborough Pearson, the architect of Truro Cathedral. Ashley Cross Green, once called Parkstone Park, and Parkstone station on the Weymouth to Waterloo line are the other easy markers.
What gets collected most around here
Dry cleaning leads on this page — suits, coats, dresses and delicates, cleaned and returned on hangers. Around it we take the everyday wash, bedding and duvets, and shirts for ironing, so one collection covers both the dry-clean-only pieces and the household basket.
Lower Parkstone books through the same form as the rest of our Poole service, and collections run five days a week.
